I'm a third year Information Technology undergraduate at the University of Moratuwa. I work across the stack: React and Next.js on the front, Node.js, Django and FastAPI behind them, with PostgreSQL or MongoDB underneath.
My favourite work sits where software engineering meets AI: RAG chatbots, natural language to SQL querying and analytics dashboards. Outside code I write on Medium and lead design and publicity for IEEE WIE at my university.

An AI and machine learning competition run as a Kaggle-style challenge. Team OctaBits placed in the top 10, working through feature engineering, model selection and leaderboard iteration under a tight submission deadline.

InspiHER (Tech) V3.0 - Finalist
A multi-stage competition that ran through an AutoCAD design challenge, a tech quiz on IT and digital trends, and a final hackathon phase. Team Tech Mavericks - with Dinithi Dewmini and Chamathka Ranathunga - made it through every round to finish among the finalists.
